What happened after the interview.

After the interview I dealt with Central Personnel. I knew that some colleges were better than others.
Therefore, I asked around a lot.
I'd already found wonderful people via expatwoman.com and they were a brilliant source of information on all the Emirates.
I asked to be placed with Abu Dhabi Women's College (ADWC) as choice number one.
They got straight back to me and said "Yes" that would be my placement - very very excited.

Now, Abu Dhabi is very high rise (think Manhattan Island, New York). I'm not at all good with heights and started to worry about where we would be allocated to live.

I mentioned it to the personnel officer of ADWC, who put me in touch with the Housing Officer. He had a first floor flat available in a very nice block.

Swimming pool and gym on the roof are included!
The lady who is moving out is called Carolyn. She's moving to Canada.
It's been great having contact with her as we've been able to buy her carpets and curtains.
Rental flats in AD have bare concrete on the floors.
